This beautiful 2 yr old custom home is contracted,
the seller is expected to save over 7,000 dollars
in real estate commissions vs. a six percent list.
Seller had the opportunity with my company to save
even more. Regardless of how much they'ed save,
They will have received full service. Like I've been
saying since I got into real estate,
All I need to do is make a living not a killing.
(Others may say it also, but I don't know who)
I'll answer both questions!
1. Most real estate agents are educated on real estate dos and don'ts. For those who are not,please pay attention to the following. An agent involved in a transaction cannot disclose the contracted price of a property until after closing of escrow. Not all agents are educated enough to, many are, understand the formulas in mathematics that would allow one to discover the contracted price from the information above. The only variable would be the saved against commission. Since it is not mentioned. That leads me to the second question.
2. Another reason for not being specific on what the saved amount is compared to at this time is it would allow some of the more educated real estate agents to do the math and get a figure very close to the actual sales price. When this property closes on the 21st of this month I'll let the public know exactly how much was saved and what those savings are compared to. When I do disclose the compared to commissions it will be in the appropriate way.
