Hero On The Hudson

Real Estate Agent with Realty Professionals, Inc.

I was checking the stock market today on cnbc.com and stumbled across a story about US Airways in regards to the Miracle on the Hudson.  I was glued to this story as many were and wanted to see what it said.

The story was talking about if you want to be the Hero on the Hudson.  This link is a computer program where you use your right and left arrows on the keyboard to land the jet.  I'm not a big computer gamer but I took the time to land it safely, I crashed the first time.  But landed it safely the second time.  Watch the door when you land it successfully.

I lost my engine once about 1 mile off the end of the runway but was able to return to the runway where I took off. I was shooting IFR approaches with an instructor so we both got a little shaken.

Barbara, Wii is a lot more sophisticated than this program.  This is a simple computer program that flies the plane.  The arrow keys are somewhat touchy but if yu take your time, you will successfully land it in the river.  When you are successful, all the people will walk out on the wing.  Pretty cool.  This ihas been on a lot of the news chanels this past weekend.

Konnie MAC - yes it is.
