Jimmy Buffett coming to Maui!

Living in Hawaii is pretty wonderful but there are some limitations and one is the availability of professional entertainment. That's why it's big news that Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band will be performing on Maui at the MACC center on Tuesday, February 24. Tichets went on sale Thursday but availabiity was limited to MACC supporters (I am one). Sales have now opened up to the general public. The MACC website is HERE and the page for ticket purchases is HERE. Remaining tickets are priced from $56 to $86 which is a real bargain! Air fare and hotel are not included so it helps if you live here! The performance will be outside in the A&B Amphitheater, rain or shine.

2009 looks to be a good year for entertainment on Hawaii. Gloria Estefan was in Honolulu on January 17 and her performance was outta sight. Click HERE for my post on that event.

Hi Liz - Great, come on down, it's only a short flight.

I haven't been to Chilliwack but I did visit Vancouver and I loved it. Wow, the flight in is so beautiful as you look out and see all the mountains.

I live part time on Maui so the location is perfect for me. I've never seen him perform live before.

I just returned from Kauai and I saw some ads for this event. I had never heard of Jimmy Buffet leaving the Florida Keys where he's a tourist attraction at his bar. Good for Maui!!!

Hi Richard - Oh that should be lots of fun. I saw Jimmy many years ago - nosebleed seats in Miami, but we enjoyed the concert nonetheless :-) Should be a high-point for my whole-brain friend. Hey thanks for alerting me that the spinning girl was MIA!
