Make up your mind that NOTHING is more important than how YOU feel NOW, because NOW is everything.

NOW is the whole enchilada.

NOW is the power of you in this moment.   How do you feel right NOW?

Finding ways to FEEL GOOD, to feel love, to feel productive is so very important right now, now, now, now, now...

You might as well start somewhere, and it might as well be NOW.

Why not start improving your life now, now, now?

A little personal story about me this week.  I have started my speaking engagements for the year, so that is why a couple days of my posts were lean.  While downtown on Thursday, I decided to stop by the Humane Society.....something I like to do if I am in the mood to walk a dog....they love it, so do I.

So I saw this little Yorkie-Alpso in a cage, asked for a leash and the adoption manager told me that she had a twin.  If you have been reading my blog you know I lost my twin this year and the Holidays were super hard for me.    So I opened the cage and Thelma came bounding out and she was ready to go!  And there in the background was her twin Louise curled up in a little ball just waiting for someone to tell her what to do.

Two leashes please!

I played with them for 2 hours, the adoption manager had no idea of my circumstances, but she said we sure would hate to have them separated...goodness...I can relate to the pain of losing your twin.

They got cuter and cuter, but I have never been a dog owner...so how could I manage two 9-month old puppies?   I went home and slept on it...was this a good time for me to adopt a pet, and this would mean an adoption of two.  And then, I read the above QUOTE by Abraham...

NOW---NOW---NOW

Why not start living your life as you desire it NOW?

                   THELMA                                                  LOUISE

I NOW have two 9-month old puppies....any help in house training ideas....I am open.

Dear Jane,

You are absolutely right. It's your life and you have to be the one in control of it. I am happy to see you have added to your family. Thelma & Louise are adorable! Are they a mixed breed? Perhaps some type of Terrier? They are so cute. As for the house training the key is patience and being consistent. Good luck!

Thelma + Louise are designer dogs: a cross between a Yorkie and a Lhasa Apso or a  Havanese.

IF you want to read about the mix, here goes:

The Lhasa Apso is named after the sacred city of Lhasa in Tibet from where it originates. This breed was only bred in Tibet by holy men and nobles for at least two thousand years where they were used as watchdogs in temples and monasteries. They were considered to be sacred dogs. It was believed that when their master died, his soul would enter the Lhasa's body. They were also considered very lucky dogs that would bring good fortune to their owners as such they are virtually impossible to buy. The Lhasa Apso was often given to visiting foreign diplomats by the Dalai Lama. It was with his help that the Lhasa Apso spread to other countries. He would give them to visiting foreign diplomats. It wasn't until the 1920s when the Lhasa Apso made its way to Britain and the 1920s before it reached the United States.

Havashire

 Havanese / Yorkshire Terrier Hybrid

The Havashire is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Havanese and the Yorkie. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

Ninos is a mix of Yorkie mom and Havanese dad.
