I just wanted to touch a little bit about the home auction program we are now offering. We are starting this to address the high inventory of homes in the Portland market. This isn't going to be one huge auction like the one Buena Vista Homes did. This is an aggressive tactic to help the home buyers and sellers of the Portland Metro area get together. Serving the needs of both buyers and sellers. I don't think that a home auction is the only way to buy a house or the only way to sell a house. I just think that this is going to be a great option for home owners in the Portland Metro area who can't seem to sell their home. I also think this will be great for home buyers to find a good price on a good home. Both parties win. So homes that would be a great match for this program would be homes that have expired or in foreclosure. A home owner that just got laid off might want to auction their home to quickly avoid a financial burden. There are a lot of reasons to auction a home. I think a lot of people put a "stigma" to the word "auction"... Well time to change that. Who cares. The important thing is that you sell the home quickly for a good price. This auction program will be the solution to many frustrated home owners in the Portland Metro area and will be a great resource for savvy home buyers... In the end every one wins.
