Cindy, This added the softness needed for the area along with the paint color change. Looks Great!
While I love BLUE, this room was truly enhanced by the paint being changed. And the blinds, well yes, they look much better, actually as a backdrop once you placed items and closed them.
I have to agree that the biggest change was the paint color. The treatment on the blinds was a good touch, however. I am also not a fan of verticle blinds, though sometimes I can see when they serve their purpose.
Great job on the valance, it really made a difference. That blue was a bit much to have to get past!

Yes, the blue was very distracting. The new paint and new lighting gave the room such a peaceful feeling. I'm not a fan either of vertical blinds but the valance definitely gives a little more "designer" detail.
