HI Michael,
Yes, they spook very easily and I didn't want to ruin the moment. I enjoyed sitting there watching them go about their business.
Hi Paddy,
July isn't that bad down here. Actually sometimes it is hotter and more humid up north that time of year. Where is the wedding being held? If it is close enough we should meet for lunch.
Hi Laura,
Yes, it is nice to stop and appreciate our surroundings. We just don't do it often enough.
Hi Vicki,
I have never seen them in the glades, but sure enjoy them here at home. Thanks for stopping by.
WOW, that is really cool. It looks like they weren't too afraid of you and that you were able to get pretty close. I've sat there for 20 minutes myself watching a bald eagle and sometimes wildlife is just better than any TV show out there ever could be.
Hi Todd,
For the most part they weren't concerned that I was in the area. However, I am not sure they would have remained as still and content had I stepped out of the car. Thanks for commenting.
Hi Hal:
That's pretty cool....I have swans and ducks in my yard, but to have cranes walk around...must be awesome!
Hal, those cranes are awesome! What a blessing that you get to live in such a wonderful place.

Morning Toula,
Like you, I enjoy watching the wildlife, the Cranes are just an extra special benefit nature throws our was.
Hi Regina,
Thank you for commenting. I have to say, I am blessed living here in Paradise. So many folks take the area, nature and the wildlife for granted. I am very happy here and so is the family.
I remember the cranes in Florida well, and your pictures are great. Enjoyed seeing them very much.
Hi Susie,
Thank you for commenting. Glad you enjoyed them. I plan to try n catch them again in a better setting.
Hi Hal, Great shots! Another perfect reason to live in Florida. We see so much wildlife here. Yesterday, traffic was stopped for 2 ducks just taking their time crossing the road.
Hal, they really don't look afraid of anything! I'm glad you had your camera ready. They're great shots!
Morning Sandy,
Thanks for commenting. Yes, we are lucky to live among all this wildlife. We have a family of Red Billed Ducks living on our lake side. Just another benefit of living in Paradise!!
Morning Connie,
No, they weren't afraid or threatened. I had the camera in the car because I was going to update some listing pictures.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Hal, those sandhill cranes are beautiful, glad you had your camera on that day !!
