I use this 30-Second Commercial for calling on business in my community.  Adapt this to any situation.  It is better then just saying business is good.

Hi Contact.  This is Jim Thomas. I'm with EASYstreet Realty.  Have I got you at a good time, Could I speak with you for a minute, (Sporting events or other public gathering)?

 "Could I call you back or do you have 30 seconds I could speak with you about my team

Have you ever heard of EASYstreet Realty Before?

NO> "I'm not surprised Yes> What have you heard about our team?

Actually, I'm not sure you and I need to be speaking. Would it be Ok If I told you why I called and then you decide whether or not we continue the conversation?

I'm a Private Real Estate Advisor.  I work with people such as, benefit directors, human resource departments and company owner's who look to add additional benefits but at no cost to their companies.  Have you ever wanted to implement an employee retention program that helps keep employees?

...Pause...Based on what I have said, should we keep talking?

Yes> "that's not unusual, others have said the same thing."  Or "Why did you say that"

NO> "It doesn't sound like we should be talking, but before I hang up leave, can I ask you a marketing questions?  When it comes to providing a new benefit what is your selection process?

Our team has   worked with many companies who have faced similar challenges, but I'm not sure if I could transfer my skills and experiences to your situation.  Maybe it would make sense if you invited me over and we talked further about it.

>No: Thank you and hang up

  1. YES: The meeting should last no longer than 30 minutes.  At the end of the meeting, let's decide either to move forward or end the relationship.  That way neither of us will get hung up in a game of telephone tage is that right?

ASSIGN HOMEWORK PRIOR:
