"The Marines Have Landed - The Situation Is

Volunteers from MCB Quantico have "invaded" Prince William County Public Schools as part of the Adopt-A-School program.  Yes, Marines visit schools and, in cooperation with the teachers,

• read to students from kindergarten to third grade
• chaperone field trips
• assist with physical education

It is part of theTMarine Corps Commitment to "America's Promise - The Alliance For Youth"  The Marines present positive role models to the childern with the ultimate goal of steering them away from crime, violance and drugs

We are fortunate to have USMC involvement in our community.  Similarly, my wife and I are proud to have assisted many Marines with their housing requirements over the past 33 years.
