10 West Elm Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748

Just Sold!

The most frequently asked question in this crazy real estate market is, "Is anything selling?" The answer is yes. Ten West Elm Street is a perfect example of the types of homes that sell in this and in any market. The home had been purchased by a savvy builder who recognized the good, solid bones of the house. What it lacked was "spiffiness". He brought in a crew of electricians and plumbers to check out the systems and make any necessary repairs. Next he brought in craftsman who added crown moldings and wainscoting throughout the house. The kitchen already had custom cabinets and a beautiful tile floor so the only upgrade that was needed was beautiful granite counters. Light fixtures were upgraded in certain areas of the house and the interior of the house was painted from a soothing neutral palette.

What was left in the end was a clean, well maintained beautiful home with all the bells and whistles. The seller was motivated and highly educated on the Hopkinton Housing inventory and I had well qualified buyers who had seen every house in Hopkinton in their price range and   who had nothing to sell and a strong desire to live in Hopkinton in a home that was truly in "move in "condition.

As a Realtor, our job is to bring to sellers, buyers who are well qualified by a reputable lender and who are educated on the home buying process. I have been a full time Realtor in the Hopkinton area for 15 years.  My professional affiliation is with Hallmark Sotheby's International Realty. We go to great measures to design a marketing plan for our sellers with a heavy emphasis on staging a home to present it in its best light and to develop an on-line marketing campaign that implants our local knowledge  on a Global Market.

Whether buying or selling real estate in any price range, allow me to show you what Hallmark Sotheby's International Realty can do for your property and what makes us the best in the world.....locally!

Thanks for your comment on my new blog. I love blogging! There is a lot of Love over here at Sotheby's! I do love the company and the people and as you know, I usually have buyers and sellers that I love. The seller on 10 West Elm was great. Although I had the buyer the seller was great and it was such a smooth transaction. I think you are right, ...there are properties moving and it is so nice when both parties are educated on market conditions. Do you think between the two of us we can stimulate the economy? Now that is love!

...I perfer to stay annony

I used to live here, my family hired a builder who made this our house. I saw it built first hand, picked the blue color and the red color for the room above the garage. I picked the lights too and originally it had dark blue sperical granet that had sparkles in it like ( I was 16 or 17 back then) I also picked that out...so yes if you didn't like those original lights and colors...well thats what happens when you let a 17 year old decorate lol.

Everyones entitled to their own taste lol.

Its a beautiful house with good memmories. My best friend used to live next door in the yellow house...

We'd have parties and everything in the huge living rooms :p oh and in the master bedroom theres a hot tub bathroom that I decorated with my mom ....

Before this place was built it had two small cute houses, and a trailer ... just giving out a bit of history lol sorry if I bugged anyone lol
