Ft. Benning is located near the cities of Columbus, Cusseta and Phenix City along with the counties of Chattahoochee, Harris and Russell County in Alabama. Though Ft. Benning has six elementary schools and one middle school, high schoolers, grades 9-12,will attend area local schools.

Chattahoochee County High School is located at 360 Highway 26, Cusseta Ga 31805, 706-989-3678. Cusseta is South of Ft. Benning.
Russell County High School is located at 4699 Old Seale Highway in Seale, Alabama, 334-855-4378. It is closest to the West gate to Fort Benning.
