Finding clients in this market with little or no costs

Leads how to find them in this market:

Many of you are wondering how do I get more leads,  most strategies  are a waste of time. think about how much money you spend on advertising and that does not include time. I understand your business requires your devotion and time which many of you do not have. I will give you some advice on how to market your self for FREE

You must be a head hunter and committed  to your business.

here is my list of what I do on a daily basis

  • place add in free local papers most are no costs or vary little
  • place adds on Craig list
  • flyers " you make them yourself" and do not use all that color ink
  • business cards " put them every place you can"
  • partner up with-some one who is an agent
  • call mortgage companies for leads
  • call title companies for leads
  • call fsbos for leads
  • call divorce, real estate , family, law firms for leads
  • go the your county " many leads there"
  • colleges
  • talk with other agents in your own office to split your costs

Most of you do some of my suggestions  however the most important aspect of your business is DOOR-KNOCKING THIS COST ZERO DOLLARS, AND IS A GOOD WAY TO MEET THE CLIENT YOU NEED AND GET SOME EXERCISE. I RECOMMEND YOU KNOCK ON AT LEAST 100 DOORS -YES 100- DOORS PER WEEK. I DO AT LEAST 150 MYSELF.

So lets get started generating leads

I love your ideas. Getting creative is the answer. For me it is about networking networking networking. And I do not mean just go around passing our cards. Develop relationships. I belong to a weekly networking group that really works. It is a BNI group. Check out my last blog for more information. There are so many ways to meet potential clients.

Joseph,

I haven't door knocked since I have started this business. I like to put my time into online and relationships I already have. Take a past client to lunch, email past clients some recent news on the market. Let people you know your still in the business and are looking for those refferrals, or write a blog!
