Vickie - Thanks!

Fred - Hahaha! Well we woke to snow and 8 degrees Fahrenheit today so Hawaii is only a memory.

Rich, I am not sure if it is the picture that is making me light headed or the fact that this is the first post that I have seen from you since the last wordless Wednesday.

Randy - They do indeed. This one was one of many that had fallen from the numerous overhead hibiscus on the way down a trail to a black sand beach. It is nestled between lava rocks.

Danny - Bright and sunny flower on a cold day in Knoxville.

Beautiful flower.  Looks as though it's caught in a bed of lava rock.  Nice shot.

Carol - Exactly! It was wedged between a couple of lava rocks. They were scattered all over the trail.

Kim & Betina - Thanks you both! It is a hibiscus flower. There were lots of them that had fallen from the overhanging branches above.
