This post is dedicated to a recently deceased woman that was a Realtor in central NC for the last 30 years.
I met Nancy Moore in early summer 2008 when my clients became very interested in one of her listings in Burlington, NC. Mrs. Moore can be best described as a fine southern lady with manners like no other. Here I was at the beginning of my RE career with perhaps eight or nine closings under my belt and she treated me as if I were a veteran agent. Throughout the negotiations I was amazed at how responsive and professional Nancy handled everything. She almost always answered her phone and never seemed stressed. Nancy made me realize that Real Estate can be a great vehicle in life. She had obviously had quite a ride! With 30+ years in the business, Nancy was still on top of her game and still enjoying what she did for a living. I can only hope that I'm as sharp and pleasant when I'm her age.
I last saw Nancy in July 2008 at the closing. I think the last words I heard from her were, "Thank you so much, Pete! Now I'm off to lunch!" Here's to a great Realtor that I had the pleasure of doing business with. Thank YOU so much, Nancy!
