Get your 5% Downpayment From City Hall

London City Hall has eased the criteria for The Affordable Homeownership Assistance program if you are a renter and purchase a house in London or Middlesex County. To qualify, you must earn less than $55,000 in total family income and put an offer on a house or condo for no more than $140,000 before March 31,2009. As well, you must receive mortgage approval from a financial institution. As a bonus, you can also receive 1% of the purchase to cover your closing costs! These are interest free loans and offer a great opportunity for those who rent but did not have the downpayment saved up. Ty, are their decent homes suitable for first time home buyers available in London for under $140,000?

It always amazes me how some people scrimp and save to get there downpayment , yet some people just need that little nudge. HMMM interest free loans must be nice .
