A Strong Community Will Get You Through!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fran Rokicki Realty, LLC
Whether you belong to a small or large office, the strength of your community within that space will help you to meet the challenges of our market. Be mindful of those around you that may have to fall off and choose another career. Let them know that you wish them well. If someone is struggling to stay or if they are brand new, offer them your assistance. Take them with you on some of your appointments. They may learn more from coming along with you, than they will ever read in a magazine, book, or if they are reading on the internet. Give them the opportunity to learn from your experience. While I was attending Buffini's MasterMind Summit in San Diego, California, in 2007, I was fortunate to hear this man sing. I have to tell you, I could feel his voice inside of me. Hoping it is inspirational for you, enjoy.

Hi Frances.  I like the idea of having a newer agent tag along.

I think that should be done more in offices.  I always get excited talking real estate with new people.  It would be a win win.

Thanks for writing,

Ken

Yes, George, I did;) We are planning on 11ish:) How about the Starbucks on the Silas Deane Hwy? I was just there, recently, and it has great meeting areas for us to sit and chat at. The address is 1090 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield. It's right near the I-91, Rocky Hill exit. Check with Valerie and let me know if that works for both of you.

Fran, the location sounds great to me, but  Valerie was trying to contact you after the two of you set that time, she had to set another appointment I believe for 10:00 AM, so she was wondering if 1:00 would work for us.  I am clear so it is up to you.

The People You Know, Like and Trust!

There was no one in my office to help when I started.  The receptionist said it wasn't her job to help me and there was no one in the office, hardly ever.  I made a pledge then that if and when we get new agents I would help them any time.  And I do...

I feel inspired afer watching that video.  I just did the 100 Days class a few months ago and we are now Blitzing.  We have a new agent in our office...  new to Real Estate....   that I'm taking time with.  I wish someone had been there for me when I first started.

Roswell, I still do remember, 23 years later, those agents that were kind to me when I first began my career in real estate. It does make a huge impact. I have been able to help them, many years later. It comes back to you in bunches!!!

I work in an office that is a collection of Open Doors. Everyone is willing to share and help. Hence the reason why I have never felt the need to jump ship to another company.
