Changes in market

Well the one thing I learned today is the longer I am in Real Estate the more I have to learn.  Dominic Cardone (my broker) and a past president of PAR had a class this morning on short sales.  I have not been involved in a short sale yet so I learned alot from the class.  I think all the changes in the market conditions, new incentives, changes in mortgages etc keeps my interest in this business.  It is forever changing and you are a constant student.  That being said I also know it has been rough on some agents during the shifting market.  Our office is still doing power hour every morning.  I have not been very vigilent in attending.  My daughter got married a few weeks ago so I devoted alot of my time and energy into that celebration.  So know I am gearing up for the Spring market.  I am very excited about the stimulas package and the potential for buyers to receive a $15,000 tax credit.  If this was a perfect world the feds would give the credit for vacation homes also!  So now that I am forcused on the Spring time I am hoping to be able to post more often too.  This is a great opportunity to share ideas with fellow agents, buyers, selllers and others.  Have a great weekend and enjoy the great weather tomorrow.
