If you live in the city limits of Thornton here are your watering rules for the summer:
- You may water a maximum of three days per week - you pick the days.
- UNLESS you are trying to grow a new lawn with seed or sod and then I guess that rule is pretty much out the window - water whenever the hell you want - except...
- You may NOT water between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. from May 1 - August 31. (On a side note here, I have a neighbor who always waters at high noon - what is up with that?) - good thing he doesn't live in Thornton.
