Does anyone know????????

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Metro South

I have a client that sold a partial of land in May 2008.  He was told that if he re-invested that money in real estate by May 2009, he would not be taxed on the property.  If he did not re-invest in Property, he would be taxed on the sold price.  The property is in Alabama.....  I appreciate any help.

Sorry, not much help with your question.  I saw a bunch of Metro South folks at our office today for the foreclosure/short sale training....missed seeing you!  Are your kids well this week?
