Hand Written Letters

We discussed this last week in GRI II Training in Jacksonville.

Found these stats tonight while surfing.  Do you think a

"In 2006, the Radicati Group estimated that, worldwide, 183 billion
e-mails were sent each day. Two million each second. By November of
2007, an estimated 3.3 billion Earthlings owned cell phones, and 80%
of the world's population had access to cell phone coverage. In 2004,
half-a-trillion text messages were sent, and the number has no doubt
increased exponentially since then. So where amongst this gorge of
gabble is there room for the elegant, polite hand-written letter?"

Do you think a hand written note is going to stand out to your customer after seeing those kind of numbers for digital communicaiton.

I love e-mail for the response time but I always send a personal handwritten note at least a couple of times a year for my PC list. Nothing like it.

There's just something about a handwritten note that makes you think twice before tossing it.  I can say that I have never tossed a handwritten note before reading it.  Then it gets tossed, usually.  LOL

It matters to us as much as it matters to you.

Absolutely, I am putting a plan in place to leave hand written notes on doors of FSBO's and Expireds.  There isn't a "Do Not Write a Note" registry yet, is there?

Sorry about last post.  I was reading my twitter feed and clicked on my own link. I was not logged into AR when I responded.

I've always thought the handwritten note goes further in showing a personal touch.  We are battered by fast this and fast that but I really believe people appreciate getting something you had to put some of yourself into.
