Spencer Cole's 2009 Winter Sales summary

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX 1st Realty

Spencer Cole real estate sales update for Winter 2009: sales are slow. I could stop there but that wouldn't be fair! As an agent I am about to close one sale on a foreclosure property in Botetourt. I am working with several active buyers who are confident and close to a decision. Them there are the dozens of substantial prospects, several of whom could act at any time. So that end ofbyhe business, working with buyers has been keeping me quite busy. I have spent several recent weekends showing homes to couples from out of town. On a side note, much of my current activity had been rural. I do not mind that at all, bit find it quite peculiar. Ok the other end of our business is the listings. I consider myself a listing agent first and foremost. I must list to exist. Currently I represent 5 listings with at least 2 more coming soon. I would hesitate to take more than 10 listings at one time right now for fear of not having time to properly represent each client. Marketing has been going well. Toney Humphries and I are sharing an ad in The Real Edtate Book which looks great. Recently I started an online campaign to drive leads to my web site. That is working well and quite affordable but some secrets must remain secrets!  Overall I expect to be able to exceed my sales goals for the year as I did last year. I intend to review that goal at the half way point and adjust if possible. Check in again soon!
