Real Estate revolves around TOUCHING

Palease.......

Life_in_the_Gutter_by_acegurl1225.png image by gutterflower_artGet your mind out of the gutter please...that's not what I'm talking about.

LOL

Every day our itineraries revolve around touching. If they don't then we're not doing our jobs. In fact, it's not really a job. We have a profession that is to be utilized for the "good of all we touch". We touch lives in so many ways. By touching one life, the domino affect is placed in motion and you will "TOUCH" more lives than you can imagine.

We have a new and imperative position in this economic time. The lives we touch are so very fragile and we should all bear our hearts to the hardships that abound. We must place our clients "good" above anything else. Okay, we have always been required to do that. These days we must dig even deeper.

We need to:hands.jpg TOUCH image by camillaatje

1. TOUCH~ Let our clients know, whatever walk of life they are coming from, KNOW the obstacles they are up against...and,

2....let them know it will turn their way again. If not now then recommend patience and planning.

3. TOUCH~ their lives by educating and explaining and helping them to understand what they're up against. Explain that they should not take it personally. That we are in a "re-adjustment" period that history manages to reach over and over.

4. TOUCH~ them in a personal way. Meaning, that you should take the time to learn EVERYTHING about them so you can be an effective agent for them and not send them the wrong direction.books.gif books image by vicky08_07

5. TOUCH~ your books. Learn. Stay up on the "ever changing" laws and benefits and the perils of making the wrong decision. Help them to make the right one. Not the right one for you. Them.

They are first.

6. TOUCH~ your lenders. Research, build relationships and a TEAM that will help you help your clients. Now, more than ever, you must TOUCH your TEAM to stay on top of the best move for your clients.

7. TOUCH~ YOUR CLIENTS OFTEN. Even if you have bad news, which I seem to be doing a lot lately, let them know immediately. Be HONEST and DIRECT. Do not allow people to direct their lives in a manner that is fictitious. TELL THE TRUTH even when it hurts. There is no bail out for us.

8. FEEL...so many things. Feel their joy when you are successful and have broken through the barriers placed before us, or feel their pain if they are not successful in attaining their immediate wishes.

9. Be there for them. Be a friend. Be understanding and always, I mean "always" place them first.

10. Even if you are personally feeling the "tightening of the market" you will reap rewards to say to a person..."I know it's just not right for you at this time". I wish it would be but you are the one I am representing".

Do it. Touch, touch, touch, touch, touch, touch, FEEL GOOD.

Place your customers and clients ahead of everything else. Your blessings will come.

I wish you the best. Let's not quit fighting for what's right.

God Bless,

Later in the rain~Deb

Greetings from the North Georgia Mountains!

Deb: Lovely post, or should I say, touching post. Researchers say that babies who are touched more -- hugged, held, massaged -- grow up with higher IQs and less emotional issues than those touched less. Everyone responds to the power of touch...

I believe if I haven't touched at least one person a day in some way, then I haven't been contributing to the human race. We need to help each other and sometimes it really is the little things that matter. Sometimes just saying hi to someone can change their lives.
