Bailout, banks and a warning from the past.

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than
standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control
the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and
corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all
property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers
conquered.'

Now do you think the bailout is a good idea?  I am not sure but I think the Founders were pretty intelligent about what they gave us in a form of governance.  They also gave suggestions and warnings.  We are here today with this great nation due to their brilliance.  Ask yourself how much greater would this nation be if we had only listened to their warnings?  I for one know that this bailout of banks and corporations is the wrong direction for us as a people.  We are going to kill ourselves as free people, as a free economy as a nation with private ownership of property.  I am a real estate agent who believes in the sacred right of provate property.  I served in the military in order to secure that right and I see the people of this nation giving up that right.  We need to return to the principles in which this nation was founded in order to secure a better way for tomorrow or we will be shackled by tyranny.
