Sad day in Western New York....

Late last night a plane crashed in Clarence NY and with it 50 lives were lost.  The plane crashed into 6038 Long St., not far from the Clarence Center Fire Hall on Clarence Center Road.

And it has affected our RealtyUSA family as one of our agents lost his nephew on flight 3407.

Western New York is a close knit community and we are all dealing with the realities of such a tremendous loss.   Everyone in our community of Western New York is thinking of the families and their loss today.

Colleen, I am so sorry to hear of this tragic story and even how it affected you personally in your area. These things are very hard to explain. I heard the weather was bad for this commuter plane.

    Gary & Terry,

We are a small community, very tight knit, everyone knows everyone.   We all are sad by the news and to hear that it hit so close to home.

So sad, Colleen. I woke up to this news this morning as I went to bed early last night. Been praying for the families throughout the day.

Colleen a lose any one we know is hard to deal with, but these types of accidents always seem a little harder to deal with. I am sure that there are many prayers going out to families of those who lost their life, and those around them be able to comfort them at this time.

Buffalo is the City of Good Neighbors.  There isn't a person that has not been profoundly affected by this tragedy.     The most beautiful thing to be seen was the fact that people here embraced each other and are assisting one another.  The emotions of many Western New Yorkers are running high.

The people that were lost, were real and loved.   See their stories here:  http://www.buffalonews.com/home/story/578574.html

A lot of the responders are VOLUNTEER Firemen.
