Many of you may have several computers. I have a pc at the office and a laptop for everywhere else. One of the difficulties with this setup is the fact that I have many sites that I access frequently saved to my favorites and other sites that I want to be able to refer back to saved as bookmarks. Often I want to go to a certain saved site only to remeber that it is saved on my other computer. Foxmarks solves this problem. Foxmarks is a webbased application that you download onto both of your computers. Whenever you log into your computer your bookmarks are automatically synced. You are also able to manage all of your bookmarks from your Foxmarks account. In addition, if you are on aomeone else's computer, you may go to your Foxmarks account on the web and access your bookmarks from there. I am finding this to be a very useful application: I hope it will help you out as well.
Thanks that definately can be a problem. I just wonder on a corporate computer if they would let you download that program. Have a great weekend and Happy valentine's Day!
Hi Pam - I love this idea! I bookmarked it of course. Since my bookmark folder has exploded since finding AR I've been thinking about this problem - 1/2 the bookmarks at home, 1/2 at the office. This will be a huge help. Thanks so much for pointing it out.
Liz
Thanks for all the great information. I have the same problem! Thanks,
Lisa
Kristin - Do you have your own computer on a corporate net work or are you talking about a computer that several people use?
Liz - That is exactly what has happened to me. Of course when I bookmark posts on AR I use the AR bookmarks, so I can access them directly in my AR account from whatever computer I am using.
Lise You are welcome.
Lisa - It is working well for me. I also love how all of my bookmarks are now in the same order on both of my computers letting me find sites quicker.
