Anyone that attended last nights Schell Brothers Realtor Expo realizes that there is a lot to get excited for in 2009. The theme being, "Get Energized in 2009," was a perfect way to kick off the new year. Going with the theme we had many vendors from the area set up tables to promote exercise and healthy eating habits. Many great gifts were raffled off, including hour long massages!
Everyone that attended enjoyed a fun relaxed cocktail hour leading up to the featured presentation, Chris Schell's economic speech. We had a total of 3 speakers. The first was our own Pepper's Creek Community sales manager, Dan Kauffman. He shared a story from his experience in the military to show how being positive and having fun with friends will always get you through the tough times, no matter what they are. He was followed by Andy Staton who had a very inspirational story. He went from being a young over weight person to completing multiple Ironman events and he is training for a 50 mile marathon currently. Amazing story.
We ended the night with an economic update from Chris Schell. Other than his dedication to build a quality home and a great homebuying experience, he is very passionate about investing and studying market trends/history. He was able to show us the good news that we don't see on any of the television stations and the light at the end of the tunnel is not far off.
Overall it was a great time and it looked as if everyone really enjoyed themselves. We do not have the date set for our next event coming up next quarter but if you are able to attend please feel free to give us a call and we will keep you in the loop.
