Andrew - The link has before and afters of a whole different kind.  However, it falls within my guidelines (smile).  Great transformations.  Your photography is stellar.

I just want to know what secret, magical "filter" that you put on your camera to get such wonderful shots! Whatever it is, keep using it!

When I click the link, the "show" starts but only displays the pictures for about one second each. In fact, there is much more black screen time between pictures than there is display time for each picture. What's with that? The HDR treatment of the shots makes them appear to look good, but it's hard to tell since I can't view them long enough to tell.

The pictures may be good but the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. And I tried clicking on a couple of the buttons on the lower right, below the pictures, but nothing happened. And it took a while to find those buttons since they are gray on a gray background.

Like I said, the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Are you afraid I will look at the picture too long?

Thanks for your feedback.  I slowed the presentation down just a bit, unfortunately, there isn't a "tweener" speed between these two which probably would be perfect, but that is an issue for the design company.

As for the gallery views you found at the bottom, would you mind passing along which browser you are using so I can inform their techincal suppost staff about the issue?  Thanks.

Hey Andrew!

How's everything going? Great photos!!! I think you use just the right amount of 'pixie dust'. Those few people who have discovered where to find 'pixie dust' tend to use way too much. Nice job!

BTW - I know of a great tour tool where you can control the playback speed of each image. (wink-wink)   ; )

Andrew, I hope you don't mind a little constructive criticism.  The after pictures are definitely more dramatic than the before, but I think most of them are a bit overcooked ... a little HDR goes a long way.  Take a look at the photos in the Photography for Real Estate group on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/groups/photographyforrealestate/pool/) for some examples of really great real estate photos.  Also, you're getting quite a bit of barrel distortion along the edges ... they need to be cropped or transformed.

Thanks!  Nice shameless plug for CPG Tours.  =)   GREAT program, especially for the budding Spielberg in all of us!

Jim:

I appreciate your feedback.

Glenda:

Thanks for your input.  These were one of the first images I processed in HDR and before I purchased PTLens, an awesome program to correct lens distortion.  I am already on PFRE and learn a lot from the critics on there, as well as getting some great ideas to improve my skills.  There are some tremendous photographers on there.  To wit, here are a couple of before and after PTLens:

Before:Before

After

After

I have also been learning PSE to modify windows, perspective and verticals as well.

I don't mind constructive criticism...you'll never get better unless an unbiased eye (not your own) gives you feedback, much in the same way as telling a restaurant their food isn't good.  If they don't know it, they can't improve it.

Thanks again.

Andrew, thanks for taking the time to respond to my comment ... it's obvious you're committed to learning and improving and it shows!  Now I have some questions for you:

What kind of camera are you using?
Are you doing multiple or single exposure HDR?
What HDR software are you using?
Are you using off-camera lighting, on-camera flash, or all ambient lighting?

Just curious ... I'm trying to learn this stuff, too, but I can't afford the kind of equipment used by the PFRE guys/gals!
