Banks are in real estate and making us look like fools.

For years Realtors have been fighting to keep banks out of real estate brokerage.  Well, for those of you who have been doing short sales and bank owned properties, aren't they a joy to work with.  They take their own sweet time to respond to anything, (If they respond at all).  Once they approve a short sale they will try to squeeze more money out of the sale at the very last minute knowing most agents will give up part of their commission to save the sale.  More than ever,we a Realtors need to stand at attention and face down the banking industry.  We need to be proud of what we do.  Banks in real estate are not good for the consumer, and as we talk and wait they are aggresively working to real estate brokerage.  Realtors Wake up.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.  I would certainlly like to hear some opposing arguments.

Bill, yeah!  The banks are pretty scary.  Welcome to Active Rain!  You'll be addicted in no time at all!
