Every professional hits a plateau at some point in his or her career. Plateaus come in many forms, some are financial, others are motivational. Maybe an agents productivity is down due to the bottoming out of the cyclical real estate market, while another has been distracted by other forces allowing someone not to fully concentrate on ones work. Whatever the reason, the effect is usually the same lower productivity and a decrease in income. I would like to know your thoughts on how do you keep focused in this market and not hit these plateaus.

DeSoto Home Inspection Services - Memphis, TN
Certified Master Inspector
I have changed marketing targets. I am staying more focused on clients I served 3, 4, 5, and even 6 years ago. So far by putting my name back in front of them more I have landed 5 inspections from past clients who are buying new homes, and 12 home maintenance inspections. Also I got 3 referrals from past clients to their co-workers. Not bad for just sending out 400 small post cards I got printed cheap at vista print and the 27 cent stamp so far.
In 2004, 2005 and 2006 I had a huge amount of clients compared to 2007 and 2008 and have done my best to keep my name in front of them.
