Linkedin.com "It's all about who you know"

Hope everyone had a great day off and if you didn't (like me) than I hope you got caught up!

Wanted to pass out some useful information for those who have not yet discovered the site www.Linkedin.com

This is a great networking site that I signed up for and yes of course it's free. Some of you already know all about it and if you do please let the rest of us know how Linkedin has helped you get connections.

Concept of the site is pretty much the "6 degrees of Kevin Bacon" It helps you in your business to get to know who your friends know and eventually you get the point. If your marketing is based on Internet connections and getting your name out there, then this will get you a spot on a search engine.

When you sign up come find me!

Hope you have a successful day!

I have not gotten any leads from Linked in just yet, but I would love to hear from people that have and what is the best way to work it.  I will say this, I did hook-up with a guy on there who told me you have to active and participate in the discussions on there.   Seems obvious, but most of my energy goes here to the rain.  I am now trying to put some time into Linkedin as well.

Thanks for the post and link Savanna. I've only been on Active Rain, but Linkedin.com was next on my list.
