Is there anyone out there running in the 'Rain who can actually tell me WHAT this Stimulas Plan 2009 contains? I read, listen to the news, and to comments of others, but I don't know what's going on! Is there a complete list of exactly what HAS been approved(by the House, Senate and Mr. President) and signed into law? And how will this affect the Real Estate industry?

I'm still of the opinion that if this money needs to be distributed, give it to EVERY American citizen,18 and over, and watch this economy get STIMULATED!

The nearest I can tell it will buy votes but not much else in the short term. Ther is a first time home buyer credit.

Hey, Kathy. It's like our real estate contracts here in California. It's written in legal mumbo jumbo that requires an attorney -- or many attorneys -- to decipher it. I perused it and I discovered that it contains the word "the" 12,572 times. That stimulated me -- LOL.

Dear Kathy,

The only part of the stimulus package that I really pay attention to is the first time buyer credit.

The package was signed by Obama on President's Day, or so I hear! Accountants are beginning to disseminate info on the ins and outs. There are several excellent posts on AR addressing this issue.

Check out the posts and forward to your accountant for review.

Buyers around here are very excited about it!
