Good morning,

Most of us have some form of lead generation system, and contact lists. How are we using this information? How often do we contact these potential clients? And how do we contact them?

If you have time today, let's contact them with some interesting information they can use. The news is filled with information about the "Stimulus" Bill and what this might mean to first time buyers. As we know, first time home buyers are nervous!! They want to buy, they think they should buy! They aren't sure they can buy!

Today...let's all contact our first time home buyer data base. The National Assoc. of Realtors website http://www.realtor.org/ has the latest information that we can use to share with our buyers. My system has a mass email feature that allows me to customize a "card" and email an entire group of prospects at once. I use this to draft a very personal sounding card...starting with something like:

Hi,

I haven't had a chance to catch up with you lately...how are you?

This makes it seem more personal. Then I briefly talk about the changes and how it might help them. Keep it brief, as if you have written just one email. I get a nice return from these campaign and then can offer more help.

If you don't have a mass email function....then write your note in a Word Document and copy and paste to the email addresses you have, add a name for more personal contact. Make it short and sweet and offer help understanding this.

I also use this for non first time home buyer contacts....perhaps sending a specific listing to a list of investors, or an ocean view home that is ridiculously priced to some looking for a beach home....use your imagination. Personal contact with a purpose...that's the goal of the day.

I will post this to the "Mentors:Agents helping Agents" Group......
