WBRZ and the Advocate held a morning interview on Wednesday, February 18 with Livingston
Parish President Mike Grimmer regarding the stimulus bill impaction on Livingston Parish.
During the interview, Parish President Mike Grimmer discussed the hope of the stimulus bill
impaction on the parish along with other parish possibilities. Mr. Grimmer also spoke about
the I-12 project, the North Oak Hospital project(Satsuma/Summa Crossing), and the Our
Lady of the Lake property purchase of 210 acres (Walker). Mr. Grimmer also elaborated
on the current and projected growth path of Livingston Parish.
As a resident of the parish I feel the Stimulus Bill would be a great assistance for a fast
growing Livingston Parish.
