Attn: Virtual Assistants! How do you build your client list?

Services for Real Estate Pros with VMA: Small Business Solutions - Virtual Marketing Assistant

Hello fellow VAs.

I am fairly new to the VA world, but I have over 15 years experience in the industry.  I am really struggling with nailing down my leads.  VAs are a bit of a new concept in my area, and I am having trouble getting potential clients to understand what it is I do.

I have been using local networking groups and cold calling.  I also try to stay active in boards such as Active Rain.  I have a real talent for marketing other people's businesses, but I can't seem to simplify my own services.

HELP!  I need advice!

Thank you,

JoAnna McIntosh

here is a good posting that may help answer the question:

Consider discounting your services for a couple of agents in a effort to get "testimonials"...   More importantly, write the testimonial yourself and get the customers to submit personally.

Have you considered working for Insurance Agents? :)

I am totally new to the Virtual Assistant concept, when I clicked on your web page it really did not tell me much about what you do.  I think you might want to "dumb" it down, maybe add some examples of your services.
