I have just returned to Atlanta from a meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I met with some of the most talented realtors in the world. I am a member of a group called Cyberprofessionals. This group began about 12 years ago as a group who met twice a year to exchange ideas about technology and marketing in the real estate industry. Our leader is Linda Davis an activerain blogger and she said blog and if she says blog I knew it was time to blog. This is my first activerain blog and hopefully not my last.
I would like to share the dynamics of our group. We are a diverse group from all across North America and even Australia. The interesting thing is that through out the years of exchanging ideas we have become a family. It does not matter if you have been a member for ten years or ten months each person is valued for the contribution they bring to the organization. So many markets and so many personalities are represented in our group yet what we learn from each other is that we all share the same fears and frustrations. We learn from each other to deal with adversity but not just in our market but also in life. We have many who are facing professional and personal challenges and the way they meet them may be a more valuable lesson than the latest gadget or the best marketing idea.
If you think being a member of our group you can log on to http://www.cyberprofessionals.net/ to learn more about our organization.
I will be brave and post this and if anyone happens to read it remember it is my first and hopefully not my last.
