Qualifications for The $8,000 Tax Credit
- The Tax Credit is for first-time homebuyers only! If you have not owned a home within the last three years this qualifies as a first-time home buyer.
- The Tax credit does NOT have to be repaid
- The Tax credit is equal to ten (10%) of the home's purchase on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009
- Paid through Tax Refunds filed 2010
- Single Taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 annually qualify for the full tax credit

For all those that have been waiting, I don't think it is going to get better than this. Home Pirices have declined from 30-70% across the nation. Rates are historically low and should rise due to the new government debt. Rates are expected to go up over the next three years because of inflation and over supply of Debt.
The government loans are good loans. 100% financing is still available. RD Loan funding should be available within the next 30 days. I have a feeling that this money will go fast. So take advantage of it while the money is available.
