Hollywood

Because metal was scarce, the Oscars given out during World War II were made of wood.

During the chariot scene in Ben Hur, a small red car can be seen in the distance and Charlton Heston is wearing a watch.

Sherlock Holmes NEVER said, "Elementary, my dear Watson."

Weatherman Willard Scott was the first Ronald McDonald.

Pulp FictionBruce Lee was so fast that they actually had to s-l-o-w film down
so you could see his moves.

OscarCharlie Chaplin once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplin
look-alike contest.

All of the clocks in the movie Pulp Fiction are stuck on 4:20.(For those who don't know it's a reference to smoking marijuana ... I've been told)

In Casablanca, Humphrey Bogart never said, "Play it again, Sam."

Another interesting thing about "Ben Hur" is that the stunt chariot driver who was run over in one of the final scenes was actually killed during filming of the movie. I didn't really like "Ben Hur," but my marketing guru considers it the greatest movie ever made.
