Being a real estate agent in Kent WA can be a scary business

Being a Real Estate Agent in Kent Washington can be a scary business. Not just here in Kent WA, either- all over the country. It's very important for those who work in the real estate business to know their market Kent WA Real Estatewell. If they specialize in a particular geographic region they should know all about the homes within that area. The most reliable way to accomplish this is to drive the neighborhoods and visit as many properties as possible. Knowledgeable real estate agents do this research every day.

However, in the course of this research you can encounter interesting and unexpected situations, like this warning sign. Fortunately this was posted on a house nearby and not on the one that I was previewing. If this sign was attached to a home that I had intended to enter, I would think twice even if I believed it to be safe. This is a scary sign. Luckily, this is not the norm for Kent, Washington- it's a very safe community.

The sign isn't scary in my eyes.  I would love to show property in a neighborhood where the residences are willing to protect themselves.

Thanks David,
I can certainly agree with your opinion about residential security. Homeowners have every right to protect their personal property and maybe the sign indicates the homeowner has been properly trained in handling firearms. But, from my personal experience many gun owners do not have permits and have not been trained in their use and safety.
I appreciate the sign because it forewarns of possible danger. All real estate agents need to be reminded that there are dangers in this business and that personal safety is a daily priority.
Thank you for your comment and I wish you a successful day my friend.

Greg,

Ha!

In south Texas if you don't see a sign like this you think they are from SOMEWHERE else!  (I'm not really teasing...it's true)

I agree.  It's nice to be notified in advance of who you are dealing with!

Hi Sheila, I'm beginning to think that the owners of this sign were originally from Texas. Honestly, you just don't see this very often out this way. Thanks for saying hello!
Best Regards,

Greg
