One thing that drives me absolutely crazy is the fact that someone blatantly lies to me and tells me they are going to do something, and has yet to do it. I am dealing with an agent, and I won't name names, but I can not get anything done. They say they are turning on the utilities for the property, that they have ordered them, but when I call the power company, noone has even talked to anyone about that. Why do they lie? That is poor ethics, and I thought that as a Realtor, we were held to the highest standards of ethics. I guess some people adhere to those standards and some people don't. I just want to scream! My buyers, love the house and are not prepared to walk away. Only if they were prepared to walk away we could use that as levarage! Has anyone ever had a problem with another agent saying they are doing something and just flat out lieing about it? They have not once moved a finger to do it?
Sorry for the vent today, but I needed to write it out to make myself feel better!
