Real Estate Agent with Aubrey and Associates Realty

After a morning trip to the dentist for my checkup, I have to say that I learned a valuable lesson.  I have to go back and have some cavities filled, and possibly a crown.  I do a good job of brushing my teeth, but I have to be honest, I am horrible at flossing my teeth.  I have just never liked to do it, so my efforts are haphazard at best.  Now I have to pay for my distain for following a procedure that should be a daily activity.

So instead of having healthy teeth, like the one above, I have filled or crowned teeth.  I wondered how many aspects of our businesses are like this.  How many of the seemingly little things have we let slide until now our businesses are or will suffer because of this?  How often have we put off our prospecting, or following up for something else?

How often have we allowed our attitudes to suffer because of what the media is saying.  Have we put off our education to do something more exciting?  These are just some of the little things that we need to be doing all the time to keep a healthy, strong business.  I know that it is easy to think that I will prospect later, or call that past client tomorrow, but do later or tomorrow ever actually come in respect to doing what we have put off?

It is up to each one of us, I know that there are many areas that I really need to improve upon.  There still is time so go out and make it a great week!

Flossing is something that I've never done and probably never will. I won't go into the details why, but most of my teeth have fillings anyway. I don't even like brushing, so I have to schedule that activity three times a day and then reward myself for doing at least three things each day that I just hate to do.

The left side of my mouth is virtually untouched by a dentist's drill or pick. The right side is a different story. I have fillings, crowns, and bridges on top and bottom. The last time I had an x-ray taken, it looked like two different mouths were put together. lol

Tony and Darcy, Last time I went to the dentist I was excited to go that morning. See in the afternoon I was going to Hawaii for 2 weeks. I think that's the only time I've been excited to get to the dentist. A means to an end you might say!
