Sometimes, even the nicest rooms have an awkward spot that detracts from the rest of the room. This long and very pretty galley kitchen had an open laundry area that just seemed awkward and ungainly at the end of the room. The seller had always hated the look of this open laundry area, feeling that it was an eyesore compared to the rest of the kitchen.
By adding cheerful art and accessories that worked with the rest of the kitchen we made it feel like it belonged there. The artwork is bright and colorful which just makes the area feel good right away. The use of canisters and a fruit basket as accessories make it feel like a functioning part of the kitchen.
