HI John,

I love Point2 and have been using it since I started my business. However, recently they tried to start cahrging my agents for using the site. I already pay $1200 a year and the only way to assign agents to my prospects is to have them accept the membership into point2 (this has always been free for them). I called the point2 office and they quickly grandfathered all of my agents in at no charge for life. They told me that anytime I get a new agent I just need to call in and register them and they too will be free for life.

I have considered moving to another server provider but I have thousands of contacts on point2 that I would have no clue as to how to transfer them and I definately wouldn't ant to lose them.

I do not have a point2 site, but I do use point2 to post my listings.  Now they are saying that I need to pay them 9.95 a month to be able to contunie using them as a my portal, when there are so many other companies out there that still let us use their portal for free.  not sure what I plan on doing.

The thousands of dollars in monthly fees to run our business certainly add up...  Isn't it lovely when a loan negotiator tells you to donate 1/2 your commission to the short sale so it can close and accuses you of making too much money?  Next time I'll tell the negotiator, "I will if you will" (ha, ha, ha!)

John and then again Active Rain is starting to make you pay also.  Before long there won't be any more free rides on the gravy train.

Well they won't be charging me that's for sure, I'll skip town and take my listings too!  No need to pay for another listing portal so to speak when others want our listings for free!
