I want to welcome WPReality to ActiveRain. I want to thank Rita and Brian Burke for introducing me to Sean. Sean is a member of ActiveRain.

I did.
I really, really needed help.
I needed help long before I accidentally deleted my WordPress content on Sunday afternoon. I have had the blog since New Years Eve in 2006 but this WordPress.org thing does not come easy for me...
It is ugly... It does not have plug-ins. I have read WordPress for Dummies as if Lisa Sabin-Wilson was talking directly to me.
I read all of Cheryl Johnson's helpful posts in the WordPress group on ActiveRain.... and reread them...
I think it is a mixture of a mental block, not really being techy and sheer terror that keeps me from getting WordPress.org
The sheer terror shoulda kept me from doing what I did on Sunday but this time it did not...
What you woulda seen if you'd looked at my blog on Sunday or Monday or up to about 5:00 on Tuesday was a blog with one post... the default welcome post...
Oh I went in and changed it just a bit, saying something like "ooopsie" what I really said was a bit stronger....
I started the WordPress.org Group on ActiveRain. Jay McGillicuddy must have featured the Burke's post about WPReality because I certainly did NOT remember featuring their post but it has a star.
I spent part of Sunday (the part after I cried) and lots of Monday looking for help to get my WordPress.org blog's content back up. I looked for a contact that I vaguely remembered from Twitter. I sent out a muffled cry for help via Twitter on Sunday night. I never looked in the ActiveRain WordPress group on Sunday or Monday for some reason.... I admitted my error publicly on ActiveRain on Monday evening in a Reblog of Jeff Corbett's post about the terms of service of various social media in comparison to ActiveRain's TOS.
I found the Burke's post Tuesday and contacted Sean and my blog was recovered before the Mardi Gras Party....
My blog, ColumbusBestBlog.com is still butt ugly but MY content is back up...
