Sandy - Oh, dog ownership! And to think all they do is live to love us......And then they eat the couch when we go to work!!!

Linda - I think your daughter's Misha is too spoiled to ever go to a public obedience school anyway. Perhaps some private school for those dogs with names like Biff and Susie might work for Misha!

Brigita - What was that dog letting me know when he ate the couch last year?!!!

Caren - You have a dog with a sinus problem?!!! And, yes, we love our doggies!!!

Michael - Go figure?!!! What could be wrong with a little education?

Craig ~ Again - your comments are just as funny as your Wordless Wednesday picture! I stopped by yesterday but knew more interaction between you and your friends would follow so I waited until today to comment, I didn't want to miss any fun!

Have a great day!

I wish I had kept the photos from when our black Lab - who was a stray and found us - decided to eat 1) the sofa, 2) our bed (she was really ticked!), and 3) the pillows off the sofa.  All on different days so we could enjoy her 'creativity' more.  Now she is crated anytime we go away from the house.  She's not to be trusted!  LOL

Carol - Sounds like your lab needs to be in doggie jail whenever you leave the home! A sofa, the bed and the pillows.....and that was just an appetizer!

Hey Craig, if you cross this post with your latest post on teaching kids to read, could we make a case for teaching our dogs to read first, and then work on obedience?  Great photo, man!   :))

Greetings from the North Georgia Mountains!

Craig: He sure showed you what he thought of all that training nonsense! Reminds me of when we got an adorable puppy, Dale. We had only had Dale for a few days when my husband got a new recliner that he had been coveting for a while. It wasn't in the house for 24 hours, when Dale chewed the side lever-thingie off. It is a testament to my husband's powers of restraint that Dale is still with us, 16 years later!

Very cute post!

Kim - Your hubby must be a very patient man and Dale is a very lucky dog that he is!!!

I could just see the dog thinking "Obedience, Schobedience! Take that as my answer." I see that obedience weren't too tasty for him, since it left large portions of them.

Love my poochies.

Thanks for the smile.

That's a great one! I remember when my Golden was a pup, many years ago, and he chewed up part of my album collection, (see, I SAID many years ago!). Better call the Dog Whisperer!

Lydia - If I've made you smile, then my work is done for the day! Thank you for stopping in and taking the time to comment. Come back soon!

Debi -Albums? What are they? You must be really old!!!!!

Russel - Sorry Russel. The offending pooch that pulled off this little stunt is now in solitary confinement and may be there for a looooooong time!!

Craig. You are a dead man. You haven't heard that old adage, "I'm on estrogen, and I carry a gun"? LOL

BTW - Is that really Jim? LMAO

Debi - I don;t care how old (or young) you are...You're aging VERY well! And, no, that's not really Jim...I just had to get him back for his silly blog comment...Remember that old adage...."He who laughs last"!!!

Oh, one last thing.....LMAO? This is a family blog....You just pick up your "A" and put it back where it belongs!!!

How on earth could I have missed this priceless post? That photo does say it all. Sometimes keeping a dog inside while your gone can be a challenge. Why don't you show us a photo of your overly enthusiastic puppy?

;)
