Mike's 52 Weeks of Thanksgiving - Week 13- Unexpected Money

By
Real Estate Agent with Retired

Every week I have a somewhat difficult time finding something to write about, not to be thankful for, but just to be intgeresting enough to share. For this week, I had a couple of topics line up, but they just took a back seat to what was waiting for me last evening when I go home from a listing presentation.

There, waiting for me on the table, with the rest of my mail was a letter from the Georgia Association of Realtors (G.A.R.). Enclosed with that letter was a check for $250.00, a scholarship for the most recent GRI class that I attended.

HOT SPIT!

So, I just want to thank and recognize G.A.R. for their scholarship program, it is offered to all attendees of G.A.R. provided training. I also am thankful for those that have come before and contribute to the scholarship program. I know that I will be.

BTW - if you attending anyG.A.R. training events, please be sure to apply for any scholarship offered. It only takes a minute. But, if you don't, don't worry, there will just be more for me;^)

Now that's the kinda mail you want waiting for you -  Congrats!    I want to thank you for your 52 weeks of Thanksgiving - great concept.   I've participated in the 29 days of giving which was enlightening to say the least and I think I'll borrow your idea for my own life.  There is so much to be thankful for and this idea keeps up open to what can be!

Hey, Mike. I think right now I would be excited about $25.00, but $250.00 is even better. All my best, Jim

Hey Mike, Mail like that is always a welcomed sight. Congratulations, did you know when you signed up for the course that there was some sort of reimbursement possibility or was it a total surprise? Have a Wonderful Day!
