FHA INCREASED LOAN LIMITS

FHA has increased mortgage loan limits for the calendar year 2009:

The new FHA maximum loan amount for Montgomery, Frederick and Prince George's County is now $729,750. Please note that some Maryland counties have much lower loan limits. Check with us or your mortgage lender if you have questions.

The new national reverse mortgage limit is $625,000. This will give access to higher funding for senior home owners needing more income or cash for any purpose.  

FHA has again become the most popular mortgage financing for first time home buyers. Prospective purchasers should always obtain pre-approval before submitting a contract on any property. Ask us for a referral to a loan officer if you do not have an existing relationship with your mortgage lender.
