New and Improved Facebook “Pages” Coming Soon

By
Real Estate Agent with Eau Claire Realty, Inc.

I saw this article and thought I would share it with everyone. I like the idea of a streamlined approach. I find some of the different Facebook applications clumsy to use and the way pages currently work, it seems difficult to promote them within your profile. This new feature would be a tab and hopefully make it easier for your pages to be found. I am interested in this because I have not spent hours customizing my pages as it seems some people have. The fact that it takes so long to make the pages look good tells me they need a new approach. Take Squidoo for example and look how easy it is to set up a good page there. If Facebook can incorporate something like that I think everyone will come out ahead.

It looks like there is a link to take a peek at the new look here.

Shane, this will be good news. It is very cumbersome now, to build a fan base. The advantage of a page as I understand is it can be accessed from both inside facebook and from the outside.

Exactly Jay. I tried my best and it was just a mess trying to create one. I just couldnt see spending that much time to see IF someone would even like my page. If they can make it easier it would work better.

Not too sure I want to customize my profile too much.  I suppose if I create a page just for my business then that would be the time to consider that.
