Staging Furniture for Sale in Portland, OR .... No, I'm NOT Going Out of Business :0)

UPDATE - Thanks All! These items are sold :0)

Hi All!

I have been going through my staging photos and too many of them are looking the same. Time to sell some of the very successful pieces which have been shown many times. And before anyone asks ... NO, I'm not going out of business. I need to sell a few things so I can get new items for my inventory. If you are just starting out, these pieces have been very good to use in staging, which is why I'm seeing them in too many of my own photos. Pair them with your own inventory, which is sure to be different from mine, and you'll have a whole new look of your own!

This is my first posting, I'll be going through my warehouse and will probably post a few more items, so check back on this forum or go directly to my blog. My warehouse is in Sandy, but if it fits in my mini-van, I can meet you in town or deliver. You can contact me through Active Rain or find all my contact info on my website at Pangaea Interior Design.

All of these items are listed at half of their initial price or less. They are all in good condition and will last for many stagings to come.

1. Beta Table, from Dania in "cherry" color. $174, New is $349. Showing photo from Dania plus photo of my own. It closes to be a 36" x 36" square table making it very versatile.

2. Scala Dining Chairs, set of 4. $49 each. New they are $99. I recovered mine in a very high quality chocolate colored faux-leather. Nobody will know these aren't leather if you don't tell them :0). Including close up photo of the faux leather.

Pangaea, great looking stuff.  Have you looked into listing it on www.stagerslist.com?  It is run by Terrylynn Fisher and Kym Hough - both wonderful ActiveRainers.  Take a look and contact them, or Chris Fisher, also a great active raindrop, who does the administration of the site.

Great items!  Wish I lived closer!  The shipping would negate any savings.  I don't think you will have any trouble relocating them to a new owner.

Joanne - Thanks, I do know about stagerslist. Thought I'd try my sources that are local and which have no fee to begin with, though I know their's isn't high.

Hi Pangaea, When we have inventory we'd like to sell Craig's List has worked great.  I know other stagers who use Craig's List for the same purpose and if you advertise as a "stagers inventory reduction" people will come to the sale.  Good luck!

Diana - I am working on posting on Craigslist also. Must be going very slow today, I still don't have my email allowing me to publish my post. Thanks for the tip about adding the bit about stagers inventory reduction. Good idea.

I'm actually in the market for two slipper chairs. I can't imagine what the cost of shipping them to NY would be though!

I know what you mean - I keep finding some of my favorite pieces popping up in my staging portfolio...time to cycle them out of my inventory. *SIGH* (I'm trying to keep myself from making the 10-hour drive to Portland...that dining table and chairs would be perfect for a home I'm about to stage...)
