We've had some listings that have had only 1 showing in months.
One waterfront listing, at $675,000, had a showing request early this week. The shocked sellers said, OK. The following day, we had another showing request. More amazement, but OK. And yesterday, the third showing this week. What's happening???
A nonwaterfront listing, at $200,000, has had a few very quiet months, after an initial showing burst. It, too, has a showing scheduled for tomorrow - and today I had a prospect call that wants to see it on Monday.
Today all three of us on the Simms Team were showing properties to buyers - from $225,000 to $1,000,000. Yesterday we were busy, too.
probably unrelated, but interesting - James Thorner, writing for the St petersburg Times, has had some very negative posts, but on Wednesday he was positive, saying "Home buyers enjoy three discounts that might not survive 2009: a foreclosure discount, a tax credit discount and an interest rate discount."
