My father was a huge jazz fan, and we saw Dizzy Gillespie at Blues Alley in Washington, D.C. back in the 1980s, and saw Stan Getz over in Copenhagen, Denmark, among others. I developed an interest in Jazz based on his intense love for all things Jazz.
